<br><b>Clark County’s Department of Environment and Sustainability is hiring a Planning Manager!</b>
<br>
<br>The Planning Manager (Air and Climate Planning) is responsible for designing a comprehensive road map to improve air quality and address climate change in Clark County. The position aids Clark County residents, businesses, local governments, and other interested parties in understanding air quality in the region and what can be done to protect it, public health, and the climate.  This is done through an integrated combination of regulatory compliance, grant and incentive programs, public education and outreach programs, and strategic partnerships with other agencies and stakeholders.  With at least two years of supervisory experience, the ideal candidate will be able to manage, delegate and prioritize projects and assignments. The ideal candidate will have five years of progressively responsible experience in the field of air quality, with knowledge of the federal Clean Air Act requirements and of climate change initiatives.
