The City of Tucson is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to be the next Human Resources Director. Our ideal HR Director is a master of adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and resilience are key. With exceptional communication skills, this individual will excel in delivering clear, transparent messages and handling difficult conversations with empathy. As a leader, they will inspire and guide the HR team, building trust and strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in Human Resources, or a related field; and
Seven (7) years of increasingly responsible human resource management experience that includes supervision of staff; or
An equivalent combination of formal education, training and work experience that produces the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
