The Village of Tinley Park is seeking an experienced, strategic, and collaborative Finance Director to serve as the Village's Chief Financial Officer. This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-performing finance operation in a vibrant, growing community in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.

The Position
Reporting to the Village Manager, the Finance Director oversees all financial operations for the Village, including budgeting, accounting, treasury functions, tax levy preparation, payroll, purchasing, risk management, debt administration, ERP systems, and grant compliance.
The Finance Department has earned the GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Financial Reporting for 25 consecutive years and multiple Distinguished Budget Presentation Awards. The Director leads a professional team of 10 full-time and 3 part-time staff and manages a $177.4 million total budget, including a $72.5 million General Fund and a $40 million capital program.
Key priorities include continued refinement of a new ERP system and filling the vacant Assistant Finance Director position.
