<br>CalPERS is looking for an experienced financial expert to join their leadership team! The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with the ability to direct the Treasury Management section and collaborate with stakeholders (both internal and external) to manage CalPERS financial risk. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated experience of treasury operations within the financial industry including but not limited to; cashiering functions, cash management and forecasting, short term investments, payment processing, and liquidity management. In addition, the ideal candidate has a background in leading and directing both technical and professional staff, while being able to make informed decisions quickly and effectively. CalPERS is a large organization with retirement, health, and investment programs so the ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate across all levels of management and be able to present financial data clearly and in a manner, which will be well received by those without a financial background. With a shared mission of providing their clients with the best health and retirement benefits, the candidate should have demonstrated experience working collaboratively with various teams to execute the organization’s vision.
