Annual salary range: $77,121 to $93,778 DOQ DOE

The City of Colfax is seeking a leader that empowers staff with the authority and resources to carry out delegated responsibilities. The Chief Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator will perform the work that is required to operate the wastewater treatment plants in accordance with Federal and State regulations; to collect, record, and report all essential system monitoring data; to make minor repairs to plant facilities and equipment; and to care for the cities property by performing a high level of building and grounds and maintenance. The new Chief Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator will have excellent communications skills with the ability to develop, implement, and achieve department goals.

Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Colfax area provides amazing views while hiking along the many creeks and rivers and offers unique shopping and dining in the locally owned businesses.
