<br>Englewood is seeking a City Engineer who is a collaborative leader and innovator to lead a talented group of civil engineers, construction inspectors, and support staff. The City Engineer provides leadership and direction to the engineering division of Public Works to deliver capital projects, up-to-date engineering standards, and timely and comprehensive development review, effective right-of-way permitting, inspection and engineering support services. As a member of the department management team, the ideal candidate will possess excellent people and project management skills, and the ability to manage in a complex environment. Candidates should be politically adept, flexible leaders and possess effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate and problem solve with staff, city leadership residents and external stakeholders and partners. The City Engineer oversees a staff of 13 including 5 direct reports. This position provides a stable yet innovative work environment.
